Nature. Mountaineering. Culture.
“Beyond the Peak. Nature. Mountaineering. Culture.” is an evening dedicated to mountain cinema, promoted by SAT – Società Alpinisti Tridentini – Civezzano section. The film selection focuses on mountaineering stories, human adventures, cultural testimonies, and reflections on the protection of mountain ecosystems. An event open to all lovers of nature, exploration, and cinema: a visual journey combining emotion, awareness, and curiosity.

Awards & Prizes

“Oltre la Vetta” Award – Best Film: the main award of the evening.
Recognizes the film that best combines cinematic quality, thematic depth, and coherence with the values “Nature. Mountaineering. Culture.”
Prize: outdoor/sports equipment voucher (€50), publication on SAT channels (newsletter, social media). -
“Alpine Spirit” Mention: dedicated to films that portray
the human adventure of mountaineering, solidarity,
resilience, or the ethical dimension of the mountains.
Prize: publication on SAT channels (newsletter, social media). -
“Environment and Sustainability” Mention: awarded to works
addressing ecological themes, mountain environmental protection,
climate change, and territorial sustainability.
Prize: publication on SAT channels (newsletter, social media).
Rules and Conditions
Eligible works: documentaries, short films, mountain films,
adventure, culture, nature, and sustainability.
Professional and independent productions are welcome.
Themes: mountains, mountaineering, environment,
culture, or outdoor sports.
Duration: no strict limit; films under 20 minutes are recommended,
although longer works may be accepted upon evaluation.
Languages: any language; Italian or English subtitles required.
Screening rights: by submitting, the filmmaker grants SAT
a free, non-commercial public screening during the event.
All rights remain with the author.
Formats: digital file (.mp4 or .mov – H.264/H.265 – minimum 1080p,
4K preferred).
Fees: no submission fee, except during the final submission window.
Selection: submissions will be evaluated by a jury;
selected films will be notified by email.
No screening fee will be paid.
Submission materials: screener link (FilmFreeway/Vimeo),
short synopsis, 1–3 still images (min 1920px),
subtitles (.SRT) if not in Italian, optional trailer.
